Why several rows show the same funding: HYPE, ZEC, SOL are at Hyperliquid's baseline rate of 0.00125% an hour (shown rounded as +0.0013%). That is the fixed interest-rate component, 0.01% every 8 hours, which applies when a perp trades with no premium to its oracle; positive means longs pay shorts. We annualize arithmetically (× 24 × 365 = 10.95% a year); Hyperliquid's docs quote the same rate as 11.6% APR. Source: Hyperliquid Docs, Funding (checked Oct 25, 2026).

Limits and keys

No key: 30 requests per minute per IP. With a free personal key (Authorization: Bearer rq_live_…): 300 per minute. Over the limit you get HTTP 429 with retry_after in seconds and a link to get a key. A bad key counts as no key and still returns data.

Which way a price goes next. The feed carries no scores, ratings or long/short ratios.
Liquidations (v1.1).
Order books, trades or anything about a single wallet.
Prices from other exchanges. Cross-venue funding is left out.

Analysis how to read funding and open interest

How to read funding and open interest

Funding is the hourly payment between longs and shorts that keeps a perp's price near its oracle. A positive rate means longs pay shorts that hour; negative means shorts pay longs. Hyperliquid quotes it per hour, so 0.00125% an hour is about 10.95% a year if it stayed the same, which it rarely does.

Open interest is the number of contracts still open. A rise means new positions opened; a fall means positions closed. It says nothing about which side is right, since every long has a matching short.

Premium compares the perp's price with its oracle. HIP-3 oracles are set by each deployer, so check the deployer's method before comparing markets across dexes.

When the underlying market is shut (weekends for stock perps), the oracle may hold still while the perp keeps trading. Our Hyperliquid TradFi Tracker shows those gaps against the last close.

FAQ

Is the Hyperliquid market feed free?

Yes. It is free without a key at 30 requests per minute. A free RogueIQ account gives you a personal key with 300 requests per minute. A bad or revoked key falls back to the free limit and still returns data.

Where does the data come from?

Only Hyperliquid's public info API (api.hyperliquid.xyz/info). We cache it every minute, so your requests never hit Hyperliquid directly. RogueIQ has no affiliation with Hyperliquid or any HIP-3 deployer.

What are HIP-3 markets?

HIP-3 lets outside teams deploy their own perp markets on Hyperliquid, such as stock, index, gold and oil perps. Their coin ids carry a dex prefix, for example xyz:GOLD. Each deployer sets its own oracle and rules.

How fresh is it?

The snapshot refreshes every minute. Every response has as_of (when we read Hyperliquid), stale (true if that read is over 3 minutes old or the last read failed) and stale_since.

Does it show liquidations?

Not yet. Hyperliquid's public API has no market-wide liquidation feed, so v1 says so plainly and returns no numbers. Version 1.1 adds liquidation counts from Hyperliquid node data, without wallet addresses.
