How our data works
Every number on RogueIQ comes from a named public source. Here is where each one comes from, the checks it passes before you see it, and the three grades we are adding so you can tell at a glance how solid it is.
Three grades
Two independent sources agree within a stated tolerance.
Planned · nothing is Matched todayOne source, straight from the agency or exchange, current, and through every check.
Planned label · sources live todayUseful with a caveat, and the caveat always shows next to it.

Agency data is used under each agency's public-domain or open-data terms and cited on the tool page. Every series is pulled directly from the agency that publishes it.
How we check it
These run automatically on every refresh, today. When a check fails, the tool keeps the last value that passed and labels it with the date.
Sane range
Every new value must fall inside a plausible band: yields between 0% and 20%, Brent between $5 and $400, the broad dollar between 50 and 250.
Jump limit
A value that moves too far in one step is held: more than 1 point for a yield, 40% for Brent, 5% for the dollar. We keep the last value that passed and say so.
Freshness limit
Each series has a clock: 4 days for yields, 10 for Brent, 12 for the dollar, 3 minutes for the Hyperliquid feed, and the expected Friday release for CFTC data.
Arithmetic re-check
CFTC rows must add up: longs and shorts within open interest, net equals long minus short, no duplicate or future dates, and we recompute each percentile ourselves.
Venue guardrails
Hyperliquid rows are dropped if funding exceeds 4% per hour or the mark price sits more than 20% from the oracle.
Sample size
Weekend stats wait for 8 weekends. Usual-range bands wait for 7 days and 120 hourly snapshots. Thin CFTC and survey cells are marked.
Cross-checks against a second source: none run today. Each number above has one source. Matched appears only after a second, independent source is added and compared on the same date.
What a grade leaves out
A grade describes the data: its source, its freshness, and whether it passed our checks. It says nothing about where a market goes next, and it is never a buy or sell signal. An Official number can move a lot tomorrow. An Approximate one can be perfectly useful once you know what it stands in for. RogueIQ shows where things stand and makes no calls.
